Was in search of a car under 10L as my first car for a family of 4 with me being a 6 ft driver who is regular city commuter with a weekend/Sunday drive around the city.(97% city bumper to bumper traffic,3% of highway )
Based on that i have shortlisted 3 cars of which i found out that first two are having fab suspension
1)Nexon xz+ petrol
2)WRV vx petrol
3)Amaze(Have to test drive this one)
Also had test driven the xuv300,ecosport
Ecosport too much crammed for my height of 6 Ft and the 300 little too wide for a first car with very low boot space as of a swift car the feature list i find too annoying with very less usable features,cheap yellow lights with no blower at rear
Liked the petrol on wrv but was disappointing with the very old and laggy android 2.3 digipad 1.0 on the wrv and the lack of rear adjustable headrest although its an epic i-vtec i heard the its the kerb weight which has sank the sales of petrol variant on this car
whereas on the Nexon petrol the steering was lovely to hold with the sculpted design,good infotainment system and was having comfortable leg room,headroom but due to the poor perception that tata=taxi and poor sales,after sales service service i can’t convince my family to go with the nexon.
My priorities are style,comfort,safety, okay-sh maintenance and at last decent average of min 11kmpl
Now which car do you suggest based on the above?
Also should i go in for a Diesel car just because the car is great even though my daily avg is far less just 22 km’s.
