Hi, I’m looking to buy two new vehicles. One a mid sized sedan and the other a compact SUV. I do not want a long wait for delivery as I need the vehicles at the soonest. I enjoy driving so power and handling are at the top of my list. I have looked at several options but am still confused. I’m not interested in the big German brands or Jaguar because they are overpriced for even base engines in India. A case in point being that in the USA a fully kitted out m6 gran coupe is about $140,000 while the same car in India comes to nearly 3 crores which is almost $500,000. That’s Ferrari money in the states. So I’m kind of debating between the Toyota corolla altis and the Hyundai Elantra (which is a clone in all but name) and the new octavia but I don’t mind going further down the ladder. What would you suggest? In terms of the crossover I was looking at the new Tucson/ xuv 500/ endeavour but although I like the big Ford it’s a 6 month wait. It’s maddeningly confusing so I would appreciate any suggestions you may have to offer in this matter . Aniruddha Iyer
